Day 121: 1 Kings 19-20; Psalm 121
Open our ears, Lord, teach us to listen. Way too often we are waiting for Your thundering voice and some magnificent display to capture our attention when You are drawing near in the closeness of a quiet whisper. Help us never to miss out on such beautiful intimacy with You because our hearts are not tuned in to Your presence. In the Name of Jesus we ask. Amen!

Okay. This made me laugh and cry at the same time. All I could think of, when I read the passages of Elijah in the cave on the mountain, was how scared I would be during the great wind. I would have missed that whisper.
