Day 123: 2 Kings 1-3; Psalm 123
Thank You, Father, that we can count on You! In simple, childlike trust, we can bring all that concerns us to you, no matter how light or weighty it may seem to us. You care about every need we have, every burden we bear. Thank You that You also dwell in our praises. No matter what, may we all be a people of praise. You are worthy, and we love You. Amen.

This has a somewhat soothing effect on me. My reading for today , in the Daily Bread devotional, was a little unsettling, even though it was truth inspired. This heart wants to trust implicitly, but the head always insists on the “whys…”
I am grateful that God is not afraid of our questions. Nor does He condemn us for honest doubt. He is amazing!
